Wish I had a cloths line like my daughter's to show the top.

Hij wordt te groot voor de bank.
It is growing too big to show it on the sofa.

Summer is definetely coming to an end. Not much time left to play at the beach and look for lovely shells. But not here. I am going to play with the collected clamshells and do something nice with them. August has been a very busy month so I only managed to add two more rows. This means I will have to work very hard to win the challenge with Yvonne en Katrien and have my clamshell top finished at the end of the year. I'll have a look to see if they did better. I know they have been on holidays so maybe I am not the only snail with our challenge this month. Are you coming with me to have a look at their achievements?

groetjes Anita

Your clamshells look wonderful, Jossie. Getting too big for the couch is a good sign that you are working hard on it.
I tried to add my blog to your link, but it didn't seem to work. I posted a little update on my blog - a very little update, because I did not do as much as I would have liked to do.

Groet, leintje

Wow! I've never seen "clamshell" quilt patches before. Must try to make some- better find the instructions as they look as though they might be lined?? Great project- suchh mellow colours.
