Ellie's BOM

Found matching fabric for the back.

I really should have worked on my WISP's today but I did feel like working on Ellie's BOM and left the WISP's for what they were and took the day off. So I made a mini quilt for my mini quilt house. Finally the snowman had to go to be replaced by spring flowers. Actually it is too early for tulips yet. March is the time for daffodils but the tulips look fresh and springy. Instead of applique or stitchery I did free motion machine stitchery. I had to get rid of some frustrations and it works very relaxing to rattle on the sewing machine. I did not use the BSR. I only used the darning foot. Do the letters at the bottom look hilly? Well I could say that I did it on purpose but it just happened while I was carried away by the stitching. But the flowers stand on a slope too, so the quilt is representative for the landscape we live in. Out part of the country is hilly. I hope Ellen is not shocked by what I did to her design. Anyway I had fun doing what I did and I am now even thinking of making a fiber card or a small art quilt, things I was never interested in.
